How does the tree trunk testing device - Arborsonic 3D work?

With the help of sound waves, the density of the tree tissues between the sensors is examined.

The result of the test is a choropleth map showing, for example, the decayed fragments of the test section
trunk / branch. The obtained drawing also makes it possible to determine the thickness of the trunk wall and
which part is the strongest part.

In addition, the program has a built-in program that calculates the specific endurance
fracture layer in relation to the tree crown measured by the examiner.

Based on the result from the calculator (result given in SF = [%])   and the table below, we determine the possibility of a tree trunk fracture at the test site.
